Fixing GameRanger italic once and for all

1. Open your IP configuration by typing ur routine IP in ur browser
2. Open port forwarding
3 Open new port
4. Change Protocol from TCP to UDP
5. WAN PORT Start and End: 16000
6. LAN PORT Start and End: 16000
7. LAN IP ADRESS: Now here you enter youre routine IP, but add a 0 to the last numbers e.g 192.168.15.1 becomes 192.168.15.10
8. Apply these settings
9. Open System and Disable Firewall( This is your routers built in firewall, not ur Pcs firewall)

These settings are needed for some routers so check and see

10. Close your browser and Open Network and Sharing Center or for Windows XP or 2000, open LOCAL AREA NETWORK SETIINGS,
11. Click Change Adapter settings
12. Click Local Area Connection
13. Click Properties
14. Click Internet Protocol Version 4
15. Click Use the following IP adress
16. In IP adress enter your routine IP with a 0 at the end
17. Subnet Mask will be added itself
18. Default Gateway should be your routine IP
19. Click Use The following DNS server
20. Put in your static IP adress. Static IP should not be confused with routine IP. You will obtain it by calling your Internet Service Provider
21. The two middle Letters of your static IP should be added 1 digit. for example .73 becomes .74

This is it
PS: Points 10-21 are needed for some routers only
All router online configuration wizard is different.
Call your IP for help and to find your DNS server

Well if it works, it will be truly very helpfull for italic players as some of our clan mates are also italic to us and we are able to play with them on voobly only ...!

for the last time, it works man!!!!!i posted on other clan forums and replies said it works. and u see, i didnt copy this off internet. I actually phoned up my ISPs technical staff and asked them how to port forward

not possible with wireless data carriers....

yep it only works with fixed landline broadband dsl router or modem...!
